Membership in the Gay Peace Officers Association of Southern California (GPOA) is open to all sworn police officers, deputy sheriffs, federal agents, deputy district attorneys and fire fighters. While most of our members are from the greater Los Angeles area (including Orange, San Bernardino and Riverside Counties), we do have members from as far away as Seattle, New York City, and even Canada. Our current Board of Directors consists of:

  • Vice President: Rico Fernandez (Sergeant – Long Beach Police Department)
  • Secretary: Chris Landavazo (Deputy – Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department)
  • Treasurer: Patt Gavin (Associate Member)
  • Member at Large: TJ (Agent – DEA)
  • Member at Large: Donnie Mauldin (Lieutenant – Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department)
